I ran into this problem a few hours ago and have been pulling my hear out. Autorepairs diagnose the problem as a problem with the partition table, but is unable to automatically fix it

Ive gone into diskpart and confirmed that the partition was active. I reset the MBR thought bootrec,

bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force

Success on all three windows partitions

manually creating the BCD initially works. I can create the store, but when i run bcdedit /import i get an error saying the store does not exist.

I am desperately trying to avoid an os reinstall. I havent made any changes in the past few weeks so I dont know what could have caused this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Сегодня мы расскажем что делать если при загрузке операционной системы Windows 7 на экране появляется ошибка BOOTMGR is missing.

Последовательность действий для восстановления системы после ошибки BOOTMGR is missing такова:
1. Загружаемся с инсталяционного диска Windows 7
2. После выбора языка и региона нажимаем на «Восстановление системы»
3. Выбираем командная строка.
4. В командной строке вводим «имя_привода_оптических дисков:» в нашем случае вводим «d:» (без кавычек)
5. Вводим «copy bootmgr c:\» и нажимаем Enter (при условии что наша операционная система установлена на диск с буквой С)
6. Перезагружаем компьютер
7. Все работает.

Dear Steam Users and Steam Forum Users:
We continue our investigation of last year’s intrusion with the help of outside security experts. In my last note about this, I described how intruders had accessed our Steam database but we found no evidence that the intruders took information from that database. That is still the case.
Recently we learned that it is probable that the intruders obtained a copy of a backup file with information about Steam transactions between 2004 and 2008. This backup file contained user names, email addresses, encrypted billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. It did not include Steam passwords.
We do not have any evidence that the encrypted credit card numbers or billing addresses have been compromised. However as I said in November it’s a good idea to watch your credit card activity and statements. And of course keeping Steam Guard on is a good idea as well.
We are still investigating and working with law enforcement authorities. Some state laws require a more formal notice of this incident so some of you will get that notice, but we wanted to update everyone with this new information now.

Backpack in Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning

It troubled me for a while that my item limit was so small in game and I had difficulty locating backpack sellers mentioned in loading screens so when I found one - I decided to create a help message for others. So, your first backpack can be bought from Rikka Egest in Corner Shop (Gorhart village) for 7500 gold, so you might wanna save until you can buy one.

Dawn of War Gold - Steam

Давно уже купил себе в стиме Dawn of War Gold ( оригинальная + Winter Assault)  и сегодня решил скачать, поиграть. Так при попытке запуска она мне выдавала System Initialization Failed! ERRORS : Couldn't find required Data. Make sure you are running this utility from your Dawn of War directory. Поиск по форуму steam и по google ничего не дал, предложили только верифицировать кэш ( local files -  verify integrity of game cache ) , я конечно сделал, один файл перескачался, но на результате это никак не отразилось. Путем копания в логах обнаружил причину ошибки и способ решения (чем горжусь xDDD ) - по пути Dawn of war gold (находится в steamapps\common)\GraphicsOptions\ надо создать папку data. Вуаля!

Внезапно пришлось перехать, к хозяйке на постоянное жительство внучка приехала. Сколько искал, подходящих вариантов во Фрязино не нашел. Поискал в Москве и более -менее быстро нашел приемлемый (по цене) вариант - общежитие. Комната на шесть человек стоит 6300 рублей в месяц. Экономлю примерно две тысячи в месяц плюс до работы до работы минут двадцать только. По сравнению с предыдущими двумя часами это фонтан ! ))) Условия конечно не очень, но пока сойдет , а там и получше подыщу.
